Vox amPLUG Headphone Guitar Amps
The portable practice/headphone amplifier market has never really had very many options over the last twenty years. Rockman were one of the very first companies to release a headphone amplifier with a half decent sounding distortion tone. Thankfully the options have become a little greater with the release of the Line 6 Pocket POD and more recently the Vox amPLUG series.
There are currently three flavours of amPLUG’s available including the AC-30, Metal and the Classic Rock. Each model has identical controls and inputs yet they each feature their own unique amplifier tone. Their small light-weight design allows for them to be plugged directly into a guitar jack thus eliminating the need for any guitar cables. The audio signal is sent via a 3.5mm stereo jack to your choice of headphones or external speakers. There is also another mini-jack which gives you the ability to input a stereo signal from either an MP3 or CD player.
