The FGX series are the acoustic-electric version of the FG series. Traits inherited from the L-series such as non-scalloped X bracing and reverse-L block neck attachment, have made it an instrument of high quality. Its clear, bright tone is just at home playing accompaniment as it is playing lead, and an on-board 3-band equalizer with an adjustable mid-range frequency offers superior tone tailoring.

Piezo 1way Pickup System (System55T)
Controls for the under bridge mounted piezo pickup are mounted on the instrument's side for optimum access. The battery compartment is also located on the side, close to the neck, to provide easy replacement.
The one-way system includes a 3-band equalizer with an adjustable midrange frequency control and master volume and also equipped with a tuner. This chromatic tuner is accurate, easy to use and easy to view. You can use the tuning mode by pressing a single button even if you have no cable connected. Tuning the tuner on or off will not affect the output in any way. The tuner also comes with a one-minute auto-off timer to save battery power.
